NASA visualizers, along with various other groups,
collaborated to create a 16 ft sphere displaying the
beautiful Blue Marble 2002 image outside the Olympic
venue as well as zooms which are made available
for networks to show as well as being played in a stadium
for an audience including President Bush and John Glenn.
NASA, NOAA, DOD, international and commercial Earth
Science datasets were used to feature Utah and the Olympic venues
as well as the Earth as a whole and the home towns of the
participants around the world in stunning beauty.
